French President Emmanuel Macron visited the French football team on Thursday (June 10) at their training camp outside Paris, a day before the European football championship kicks off.
Macron fist-bumped with the players, including star forward Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, who was recalled after a hiatus of more than five years.
He also congratulated midfielder N'golo Kante, who along with forward Olivier Giroud, won the Champions League with Chelsea.
Les Bleus are a favorite in the Euro tournament, after winning the World Cup in 2018.
