बच्चों में ज्यादा गर्मी और नमी के मौसम से फैलती है यह बीमारी । लक्षण दिखें तो हो जाएं सावधान

A few years ago in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, hundreds of children lost their lives due to the fever named Chammi. The disease is also called meningitis or acute encephalitis syndrome or Japanese encephalitis. Since this is a serious disease, which spreads during the hot and humid weather, the Health Department of the Government of Bihar has alerted about it and given its prevention measures.

कुछ साल पहले बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर में चमकी नाम के बुखार की चपेट में आकर सैकड़ों बच्चों ने अपनी जान गंवा दी थी। इस बीमारी को मस्तिष्क ज्वर या एक्यूट इंसेफ्लाइटिस सिंड्रोम या जापानी इंसेफ्लाइटिस भी कहा जाता है। चूंकि यह गंभीर बीमारी है, जो अधिक गर्मी और नमी के मौसम में फैलती है, ऐसे में बिहार सरकार के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने इसको लेकर सतर्क किया है और इसकी रोकथाम के उपाय बताए हैं।
