"It's a Wonderful Plight" is a Hip Hop Musical attacking 400 years of systemic racism in America through song. It was written, performed and directed by award winning music producer and raptivist J.Rhodes.
Scott is a white man that LOVES black culture, but he is otherwise indifferent towards black people. He's ultimately a good hearted human being living in the blissful ignorance that white privilege creates. A weird turn of events introduces Scott to a mythical spirit of wokeness "Josef the Hotep". Josef takes Scott on a journey of Woke Past, Present and Future so that he can pull the wool from his eyes. Scott becomes closer and closer to being a real ally through every step in the process.
