In a bizarre incident, ‘Corona Devi’ idol has been consecrated in a temple situated in the outskirts of Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore. The move came at the time when the second wave of coronavirus has ravaged the whole country. The temple has been set up in Kamatchipuram village.

కరోనా అంతం కావాలంటూ దేవాలయాల్లో ప్రత్యేక పూజలు, యాగాలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. ఈ క్రమంలోనే తమిళనాడులోని కోయంబత్తూరుకు చెందిన ఆలయంలో కరోనా దేవి విగ్రహాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. కామచిపురి ఆధీనంలోని ఆలయంలో కరోనా దేవి విగ్రహాన్ని ప్రతిష్టించారు. కరోనా దేవత విగ్రహం ప్రతిష్టించి మహా యాగం నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు కామాచ్చిపురం అధీనం ఇన్చార్జి శివలింగేశ్వర్ తెలిపారు. కరోనా మహమ్మారి నుంచి ప్రజలను కాపాడేందుకు 48 రోజుల పాటు ప్రత్యేక పూజలు చేస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన చెప్పారు
