PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) names Vilma Santos as the Greatest Movie Actress in Leading Roles (2000-2020).

"Malaking bagay ito sa akin," the Star For All Seasons tells the editorial team during an exclusive virtual interview on April 28, 2021.

The actress turned politician sees this recognition as proof that her films still resonate with audiences today.

"Hanggang ngayon nire-recognize niyo po o naaalala niyo pa po yung mga films—relevant films na ginawa ko. So, ibig sabihin po sa akin noon, may tatak."

Vilma starred in films such as Anak (2000), Dekada '70 (2002), Ekstra: The Bit Player (2013), and Everything About Her (2016) during the past two decades.

The first two films were among the most memorable films released in the 2000s.
