Celtics Shut Down Devin Booker and Beat Suns
  • 3 years ago
The Boston Celtics were able to take down the red hot Phoenix Suns, winning 99-86. The C's have now won eight of their last nine games.
Kemba Walker led the way in the scoring department, pouring in 32 points. This covered up another rough night of shooting from Jayson Tatum, who shot 3-17 from the field once again, scoring 15 points. Marcus Smart added 14 points and Payton Pritchard scored 10 as well.
For the Suns, Chris Paul was the only guy who could find his rhythm. Paul finished with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. Devin Booker finished with 15 points on 16-13 shooting, although his slow start really hurt the team. Booker also fouled out at the hands of Kemba Walker with a little under five minutes left in the game.
The Garden Report breaks down what went right and what went wrong. Jimmy starts the show by calling out John for his incessant Kemba slander, and the ball gets rolling from there.
