Evan Fournier spoke with media after getting a good game with Boston under his belt. He said he will do anything to help contribute to winning and didn’t get discouraged by his performance against New Orleans. Fournier spoke on his mentality of “never too high, never too low”, and how to not be too hard on yourself when you have down performances and not take the good games for granted, using It as a way to avoid getting discouraged. “It felt like ****, to be honest” after having a bad performance against the Pelicans, but he was quick tp put it behind him and hit the gym to get some shots up. In terms of fitting in with Boston and contributing as a new guy, Fournier said he has to adapt to the players around him, including all of the scorers and creators here. His primary goals are adjusting to the system, understanding what the team is trying to accomplish and finding the moments to impact the game positively. Fournier's streaky 4th quarter set a career-high 7 threes, and he became the second C's player over the last 25 seasons to drop 20 points in a quarter on perfect shooting.
