An Eastern Cape school principal has been suspended, after he persuaded an 11-year-old pupil to retrieve his phone from a pit toilet at the school. The principal, from Lututu Junior Secondary School, in the Joe Gqabi District, has now been suspended. In a video that surfaced on social media, it's alleged other pupils were also asked to help with the retrieval. The pupil was said to have been stripped naked and handed gloves, before having a rope tied around him and placed inside the pit toilet.
