Three days after we had to put Squirt down, Elvis began showing the same symptoms. We rushed him to the vet where he spent three days. He and Squirt may have suffered strokes, but the timing of it makes us think they might have been poisoned. Elvis spent much of the weekend sleeping and recuperating, and showed much improvement. By Sunday, he could turn his head without falling down, was steady on his feet, and we went on several short walks to build his strength. If they were poisoned, it affected them neurologically because Elvis' blood work, liver, and kidney functions were all normal.
