The Celtics tried everything defensively against the overpowering Jazz offense from zones, to overpowering and traps, but Utah still dropped 72 points on the Celtics in the second half, then capped a win with big shots by Donovan Mitchell (36 points) and Rudy Gobert (18 points) rained pick-and-roll dunks on their heads. Kemba Walker struggled, Daniel Theis fouled out and Jayson Tatum wasn't himself against pestering defense from the likes of Royce O'Neale. Jaylen Brown shined in his return and Boston hit 44% of its threes, but lost and finished the road trip 2-3.
