The Fat Controller allows the three tender engines to go back to their jobs and then lets Percy, Edward and Thomas take a break for a while. Percy is so cheeky that he forgets Edward's advice about the junction. Percy is so startled by the presence of Gordon that he reverses away quickly, but gets stuck in a bank of earth. Later, Gordon pulls Percy out of the bank while congratulating him for preventing a nasty accident.
