South Africa experiencing laodshedding during festive season

Eskom has announced plans to implement stage 2 load-shedding from 10pm overnight until 5am. It started last night and is set to continue. In a statement, Eskom said load-shedding was necessary to preserve what it termed emergency generation reserves in preparation for high demands expected next month when economic activity resumes.
