00:00I was fortunate enough to experience Tesla safety in an accident I had where
00:05a wheel of a crossing truck came off and hit me at great speed.
00:09I was traveling at 80 km per hour and so did the oncoming truck. Just before we
00:14crossed one wheel of the truck came off and hit me at full speed.
00:19Things went so fast there is nothing you can do and just hope the car you're
00:23sitting in will protect you from what's about to happen. The impact energy of the
00:27wheel is similar of a wheel hitting a parked car at 160 km per hour.
00:38The wheel got slingshotted backwards ending lying approximately 50 meters
00:43away from the car on the railway. The impact was tremendous and still no
00:48deformation in the cabin whatsoever.
00:52All I felt was the ringing in my ears from the impact and from the explosion
00:56of the airbags. Other than that, nothing. I walked away without a scratch.
