Blake Bortles to Reportedly Sign With Broncos as Backup QB.
According to multiple reports, Bortles is signing a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos following Drew Lock's shoulder injury.
Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Lock will be out for three to five weeks.
Jeff Driskel will take over as QB for now with Bortles reportedly signing on as his backup. .
Bortles was the No. 3 pick
in the 2014 NFL draft.
He started for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2014-2018.
In 2018, he signed a three-year,
$54 million extension but was released just one year into the deal.
He then signed with the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason as a backup to Jared Goff.
He will reportedly have to undergo a physical and a COVID-19 test before a deal with the Broncos can be completed
