Rays' Ji-Man Choi Makes History in Game 2 Win Over Dodgers. The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 in Game 2 Wednesday night to tie the World Series 1-1. While pinch-hitting for Mike Brosseau. Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi made history as the first Korean-born player to have a hit in the World Series. Brandon Lowe contributed greatly to the win with two home runs. One was in the first inning off of Dodgers pitcher Tony Gonsolin. and the second was off of Dustin May in the fifth inning. Game 3 of the World Series will take place Friday at 8:08 p.m. ET
