10 Famous People Who Are Actually Fake Friends

Hollywood relationships and friendships may seem like all the fun in the world between expensive gifts, trips to beautiful places and having a ton of adoring fans who support (or don’t support) your new budding friendship or romantic relationship. It’s all good until it’s not. As it turns out, some of these Hollywood pairings turned out to be more like the equivalent of having a coworker at your job that you can’t stand being around, but they somehow always seem to be at the water cooler right when you get there; therefore, you’re forced to make conversation.

One would think major A-list celebrities like Beyonce and Kim Kardashian-West would be the best of friends and that The Royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would have at least some history with those on the guest list for one of the most important days of their lives. And it would make perfect sense for two actors that have been on one of the most popular and well-known television shows (and still talked about shows for over 20 years) would have been the best of friends. We strongly urge you to think again.

Tinseltown has a way of making celebrity friendships and relationships seem like they were just meant to be, but as it turns out, a lot of those pairings were only meant to be publicized for specific reasons. And as adorable as the Instagram posts may be, there’s always more to the story than we may think and some of these celebrity couples and BFFs may even surprise you.
