On January 17, 2008, 21-year-old Gina Edwards was helping her aunt Vicky and 14-year-old cousin Chelsea move away from her aunt’s abusive boyfriend, Stephen Buckner, when Buckner opened fire. He took aim at everyone there, including his 25-year-old daughter Rebecca. Gina was shot but played dead and managed to escape the house when Buckner turned his wrath on her young cousin.
