Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government will set up transit quarantine centres for illegal migrants detainees before they are transferred to detention depots.

In a press conference on Saturday, Ismail Sabri said the National Security Council will set up two centres each in Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan due to increasing cases of positive cases among detainees there.
