This guy noticed that the traditional Covid-19 facemasks were uncomfortable and made communication harder, so he created a unique alternative. He made a special transparent globe with air filters and a speaker system for being comfortable while protecting himself during the pandemic.

00:00Nobody likes masks. They're hot, they're uncomfortable, they make your face sweat,
00:03they slip around until your nose pops out in the grocery store, then everybody hates you.
00:08It's hard to be heard. But the worst thing is no one can see your face.
00:12No one can really read your expression. It's hard to communicate. Which is why I invented this.
00:18This is what I've been working on for the last couple of weeks. It's the ultimate
00:21in personal protective equipment. I've got four fans. There's two in the front, sucking air in,
00:26blowing it against the front to keep it from fogging up, and then two in the back
00:30to pull out the exhaust. And they're all filtered, so I'm not just spraying my
00:34germs everywhere, all over everybody. And if I'm out in the world touching things,
00:38I can't touch my face. You know, it can be hard to hear and be heard when you're in a bubble,
00:43whether literal or metaphorical. So I've added this little headset mic here,
00:48which feeds this external speaker, so that you can hear me. And I have this stereo microphone here,
00:54which feeds headphones, so that I can hear you.
