Forest officials in southern India's Karnataka captured a 9-year-old tiger that had been hunting livestock in the area.

The officials caught the animal near Bandipur Tiger Reserve and tranquillised it after a 10-day search operation with the help of elephants.

Upon its capture, officials are seen trying to lay a net of the tiger but the animal seems to fight back and briefly regain consciousness.

This footage was filmed on September 8.
