Consuming alcohol daily could raise your risk for serious health concerns. Researchers found that drinking more than two standard-sized servings of alcohol per day raises the risk of obesity. The data also shows that the risk of metabolic syndrome in some people can increase by more than 30%. Men who drank up to one drink a day were 10% more likely to be obese and have metabolic syndrome. According to UPI, those who consumed two drinks per day raised the risk by up to 25%. Men who consumed more than two drinks per day had a 34% higher risk for obesity and 42% higher risk for metabolic syndrome.
