There are about 48,000 slums around 140 km of railway tracks in Delhi. Now the order to remove them has been issued by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has given a deadline of three months. It has also been instructed that no court should give any stay on the removal of slums.
दिल्ली में 140 किलोमीटर लंबी रेल पटरियों के आसपास की लगभग 48,000 झुग्गी-झोंपड़ियां है. अब इन्हें हटाने का आदेश सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जारी किया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तीन महीने की डेडलाइन दी है. साथ ही निर्देश दिया है कि कोई भी अदालत झुग्गी-झोंपड़ियों को हटाने पर कोई स्टे न दे.
