It is his smirk being commented upon and he is responsible for the current recommendation that HCQ be strongly discouraged.

There appears to be the critical mechanism of Zn++ in the efficacy of any treatment involving HCQ.
To understand the role Zn++ has to play in the protocol (in my humble capacity):
It has been proven "in vitro" that the Zn++ ion inhibits the replication of the virus in our cells.
To get the Zn++ into the cell you need what is called a Zinc Ionophore

Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) IS a Zinc Ionophore with a 60+ years track record of being used indefinitely by rheumatoid arthritis patients at significantly higher doses than required for the 5 Day Zelenko Protocol (above) in the outpatient treatment of Covid19

Anyway back to the Taskforce
The choice of reference papers (on which to base a decision to recommend that HCQ be banned) does not include a single study involving HCQ and Zinc.
Aside: Very oddly those reference to support a Ban on HCQ also include:
i) a paper on the negligible adverse pregnancy outcomes associated with HCQ
ii)a paper on the negligible effects of HCQ on the vision of long term users of HCQ
iii)a paper on the negligible effects of HCQ on unborn children of mothers who used HCQ as an antimalarial treatment
In my humble opinion , to take this HCQ treatment option off the table without super solid cause is a VERY DANGEROUS decision in the event that this Low Dose HCQ Protocol is actually capable of helping people.
