Roofs blown off, buildings destroyed after Hurricane Laura sweeps through Lake Charles, Louisiana

This was the aftermath of the Hurricane Laura's destruction in Lake Charles, Louisiana on August 27.

Footage captured by disaster relief organisation Tough Enough 2 Care show neighbourhoods completely wrecked with debris and parts of buildings ripped from the foundations.

Further footage filmed by @jimmarcantel shows uprooted trees blocking roads.
