The Department of Military Affairs under Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat is aiming to set up the first integrated tri-services command for handling the air defence of India by the second week of October. As per government sources, the ministry can announce the creation of the air defence command around the Air Force Day this year.
चीन, पाकिस्तान के साथ बॉर्डर पर तनाव के बीच सेनाओं लगातार मजबूत किया जा रहा है. इसी कड़ी में चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ बिपिन रावत के द्वारा इस 8 अक्टूबर को वायुसेना को पहला ट्राई सर्विस कमांड मिल सकता है, जो कि पूरे देश के एयर डिफेंस को हैंडल करेगा. मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, इसका मकसद होगा कि सेना की तीनों सर्विस की सुविधाओं के एक कमांड के अंडर में लाना ताकि देश के एयर स्पेस को सुरक्षित रखा जा सके.
