The deputy finance minister concedes that the slow pace of economic reform in the country is worrying. David Masondo says not all reform requires money and it is up to state departments to make the necessary changes. He was responding to a criticism from the DA during questions in the National Assembly yesterday. The official opposition says despite tabling an economic reform plan last year, and another on COVID-19 recovery, implementation appears to be lacking.
