Residents of Grodno, Belarus join country-wide protests

Residents of Grodno in western Belarus took to the streets to protest against the contentious election result from August 9.

Nationwide protests have occurred on a regular basis since Alexander Lukashenko claimed 80% of the vote.

The international community has shown doubts over the legitimacy of the electoral process.
