The ANC Veterans League wants the decision to redeploy former eThekwini Mayor, Zandile Gumede, reversed. Last week, Gumede was sworn in as a member of the KwaZulu-Natal legislature. The former mayor faces corruption charges relating to a tender fraud. Veteran’s league president Snuki Zikalala says the matter will be discussed in the upcoming NEC meeting.
