Solar powered cars hit the road in South Africa

Nine teams are taking part in the South Africa Solar Challenge - a 3,000 mile-race from Johannesburg to Cape Town in solar-powered cars.
The vehicles have been designed and built by students from South Africa, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and China.
