Suhakam checks Kelantan forest blockade

Suhakam commissioners visited a blockade set up by the Kelantan state forestry department on Friday, after the Orang Asli put up their own blockade in the Balah forest reserve to stop loggers about a week ago.An Orang Asli spokesman said the blockade was stopping people from bringing food and medicine into the forest reserve, which is home to hundreds of Orang Asli in the Gua Musang area.
