Colleges across the United States are planning to reopen in the fall. This plan persists even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, reports UPI. Many universities plan to test students every two days using a rapid, inexpensive kit. Unfortunately, these tests are 70% accurate, an analysis published Friday found. Other strict measures include mask-wearing, social distancing, and isolation of confirmed cases. Schools hope to lower the potential spread of the coronavirus through these measures.
