Greeks defy social distancing by moshing at hard-rock festival

Huge crowds of young people ignored COVID-19 precautions and slamdance into each other during a music festival in Greece on Saturday (July 25).

Chairs flew at a rock concert in Greece as spectators danced en masse, removing seats put in place in order to maintain to maintain social distancing.

Thousands attended the hard-rock Long Beach Festival in Pieria, Greece, which featured bands such as Rotting Christ, Planet of Zeus and Thrax Punks.

All spectators were screened with a contactless thermometer at the entrance gate and audience seats were spaced out.

Τhe situation quickly changed and the rules were circumvented as passionate fans began to flock in front of the stage, which turned into a mosh pit.
