This endangered Siberian tiger named Boris which was released back into the wild by Vladimir Putin is now prospering, having fathered what experts say are four litters of cubs with different tigresses while crossing vast swathes of territory. The tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) named Boris was released back into the forests of the Russian region of Jewish Autonomous Oblast by Putin in 2014 after it was found as a starving, motherless cub. The 14,000 square mile Jewish Autonomous Oblast natural park where Boris was released is one of the tiger's few sufficiently sized remaining natural habitats.
