Huge tornado seen forming at Smith Lake, Minnesota

Minnesota was hit with tornadoes on Wednesday near Ashby and Garrison. (July 8)
According to the Star-Tribune, two people were taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries, one fatality was reported, and a wide path of damage and destruction resulted in west-central Minnesota.
The filmer said: “After getting an imminent weather alert on my phone saying there was a tornado in Crow Wing County, I ran outside to see the storm. Just as I got out to Smith Lake, I saw the tornado across towards the northwest side of the lake. It had touched down and then went back up.”
