Billi, the clever cat, uses buttons to communicate with her owner.

The impressive clip from June 27, which shows Billi using buttons with pre-recorded everyday words, has blown up on TikTok (@billispeaks).

Billi asks for food, and when her owner tells her she just ate, Billi proceeds to ask for catnip instead.

Her owner, Kendra, told Newsflare: "The training for this process is derived from AAC speech therapy in non-verbal children."
