Singapore will hold its 13th general election since independence on July 10, 2020. Political watchers expect the ruling People's Action Party (PAP) to retain its overwhelming majority in parliament. The results will be seen as a demonstration of the voters’ faith in the imminent transition to the next generation of PAP leadership.
