A man in his 20s was shot dead in Islington in north London today (July 4th).
Emergency services were called to Roman Way in Islington, close to Pentonville Prison, at 15:20 BST and found the man with gunshot wounds, according to reports.
He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards, police said.
