Nearly 100 bikers joined a funeral procession this afternoon (29th June) as fellow motorcyclist Andrew Kitson 44 was laid to rest.
Bikers gathered in a car park near to where Mr Kitson lived at Lofthouse, West Yorkshire, then joined in a convoy to pay their respects, as the procession began around 3pm
Mr Kitson was tragically killed on 9th June, when he was struck by a car being chased by police, instantly killing him.
A 22 year old man was arrested at the scene, not knowing he had hit a pedestrian, until a neighbour discovered Mr Kitsons body in their garden, who then alerted police.
Andrew was a keen motorcyclist & so posts were shared on social media, asking for fellow bikers to join the procession, which started in Lofthouse and finished at Kettlethorpe Crematorium.
