Delhi environment minister Gopal Rai on Saturday called an emergency meeting here to discuss the situation following a locust attack in neighbouring Gurugram. The minister also directed the administration to be alert, an official said. "After the emergency meeting, an advisory will be issued on steps to be taken to deal with the situation," Rai said. He asked the officials of the agriculture department to make field visits to areas close to Gurugram.
देशभर में खासतौर से उत्तर भारत में टिड्डी दल ने किसानों को परेशान कर रखा है। शनिवार सुबह टिड्डी दल झज्जर जिले की सीमा पार करते हुए गुरुग्राम की सीमा में प्रवेश कर गए। इसके बाद टिड्डी दल गुरुग्राम पटौदी सोहना में पहुंचा फिर गुरुग्राम से निकलकर छावला गांव के रास्ते अब टिड्डी दल दिल्ली के द्वारका में प्रवेश कर चुका है। सिर्फ द्वारका ही नहीं दिल्ली के छत्तरपुर में गांव और फार्म हॉउस में टिड्डी दलों का हमला हो चुका है, जिससे लोग बहुत परेशान हैं। दिल्ली में टिड्डियों के खतरे को देखते हुए दिल्ली सरकार के विकास मंत्री गोपाल राय ने इमरजेंसी बैठक बुलाई. इसको लेकर सरकार एक एडवाइजरी भी जारी करेगी.
