Out-of-control car crashes through pharmacy in Cambodia

This is the terrifying moment an out-of-control car crashed through a pharmacy.

The vehicle careered off a nearby road and skidded into the shopfront on Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on March 30.

CCTV footage from outside the building shows a customer in shorts and flip-flops waiting next to the doors.

He notices something in the distance and watches the car approaching - but manages to leap out of the way as it hurtles at the shop.

Pictures from the scene show the damage suffered to the medicine shop, with glass cabinets smashed and products strewn across the ground.

The driver is seen in the video emerging from the wreckage unharmed. However, neighbours surrounded him and he was forced to pay for the damage to the building.

Resident Van Tun said: ''The cost of repairing the damage was hundreds of dollars. The driver had to pay for all of it. He said the car had a problem with the brakes.''
