Recipe; baking powder 2 pinch 2 pinch baking soda 2 tbsp maida/plain flour 1 cup Milk powder 2 tbsp ghee 7 tbsp warm milk Mix dry ingredients add ghee mix with hand palms for good 3-5 minutes then add milk Knead the dough , it will be sticky. Dont add anything at all. Cover and rest in refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Heat the oil for frying. Rub your hands with some oil Make small non cracky and shiny balls. Deep fry them, keep stirring them to get even colour.
For Sheera/ sugar syrup: 1 cup sugar 2 cup water 5-6cardamom. 1/2 tsp lemon juice 1 pinch yellow colour (optional)
Cook above ingredients until sugar dissolved .
Add your fried gulab jamuns into the sugar syrup/sheera pan (which is on heat already) cook for 3-5minutes turn off flame cover and leave gulab jamun into sheera about 8-10 minutes (for dum).
