Dr Fuad Jakoet, a well known community doctor from Bo-Kaap died in the early hours of 16 June, as result of Covid 19 complications. Dr Jacket was admitted to hospital on 2 June and diagnosed as Covid 19 positive. He was a general practitioner and worked from a surgery in Salt River. His funeral started at the Taronga Road Mosque in Crawford.
