Thousand of far-right protesters descend on Whitehall to "protect symbols of British history"

Thousands of far-right demonstrators have descended on Whitehall in central London to "defend symbols of British history" from being defaced by Black Lives Matter protesters.

A statue of former British Prime Ministers Winston Churchill has already been boarded up to protect it.
