Protests in downtown Miami turned violent when peaceful protesters were tackled to the ground by police on Wednesday (June 10).

Footage captured on Biscayne Boulevard shows the moment police arrive at the protest and start tackling members to the ground who had been blocking the road before arresting bystanders.

“Police shut us down and it got physical and then they arrested like 13 of us!” filmer Joe told Newsflare.
