The risk of becoming exposed to the COVID-19 coronavirus increases with certain activities. Dr. Susan Hassig, an epidemiologist at Tulane University, told Business Insider how to manage the risk of everyday activities. Dr, Hassig says to analyze situations by looking at the 3 D's- Distance, Diversity and Duration. #1 The distance you will be able to maintain with others- 6 feet or more is recommended. #2 The diversity of households in the area - keep it to just your immediate household and don't mix with others. #3 The duration of your activity and interactions- keeping necessary interactions to less than a few minutes is best.
