A pavement in front of a police station in southern China's Guiyang became heavily distorted on Thursday (May 28).

In the footage, provided by local media with permission, a section of a pavement warped and was raised up to over one metre high.

A security cordon and safety corns have been placed around the pavement to warn the vehicles and pedestrians.

Fortunately, no casualties or damage were reported. The cause is being investigated.
