A heavy fog rises from the vast waters, enveloping everything in a dim blue haze; Among the falling petals stands a man in black. Petals falling one after another suggest the proud demeanor of a virtuous matron from the opera. The boat’s departure is pending, even though it is heartrending, phantoms and fantasies rush through my brain. Ethereal sounds drift in empty space over the still waters, ‘She turned the pegs and tuned each string few times, her music flew out even before playing a note. A note of melancholy sounded as each note was played, the noble tones faltering, as they wandered to and fro. A fragmented melody in the empty stillness.
