For the last month our virtual theater, „It's Mime Time,“ has been „on air“.
We would like to use this occasion of a small anniversary as an opportunity to briefly explain the background of our project.

The closing of theaters and other venues led us to the question: „What now?“
For months no performances? Performance artists without a stage? Audiences without artists?

To turn this emergency situation into an opportunity, we decided to create our virtual theater „It's Mime Time“. We wanted to choose a format that kept the atmosphere of a theater and also a bit of the weekly TV shows from the good old days. Important for us is to maintain
an artistic level of entertainment.

The challenge of filming pieces on video consists for us in maintaining the wonderful atmosphere of a theater. For this reason we have decided not to use a „Livestream.“

We love mime and pantomime in all its numerous facets and would like to go beyond the stereotypical ideas as we bring our show into the world.

We are delighed that the project has been so well received. We hope you will continue to enjoy our mime pieces. And if you have further ideas or stimulating suggestions we would love to hear them so please let us know.

And now we will look back on these first weeks. For you, we have brought together the acts of the last month in a 30-minute theater program. Get your chips, champagne, wine or beer, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy. Have a good time.
