The Transportation Security Administration might add a new step to its pre-boarding screening procedures. According to Gizmodo TSA agents might begin to check temperatures in U.S. airports. The new measure could be rolled out at about a dozen airports next week if it is approved. By checking temperatures they may be able to prevent people with COVID-19 to board a plane. The White House and the Department of Homeland Security also advocated for thermal scanning to bolster consumer confidence in the safety of air travel.
