A woman in Baton Rouge, Louisiana managed to capture the moment a meteor flew across the skyline taking her by surprise.
Kate Mascari told Newsflare: "I was taking videos and pictures of the sky because it was very clear out. I happened to be pointing my camera at the sky and I saw this from the corner of my eye and pressed record."
